About Me

Spencer has had a passion for food from an early age. As a toddler, his parents would set him on the counter and let him smell the different herbs and spices. Instead of playing with blocks, he zested oranges and accumulated jars and jars full of the aromatic zest. Growing up he started experimenting with food and the various flavors they created. He cooked for his family and friends; he realized that food could be used to bring people together and to create true community. Currently, he is a third year at UC San Diego double majoring in Ecology, Behavior, & Evolution as well as the Study of Religion. He also has a passion for animals, zoology, and the like. He is actively involved at his church, Flood Church. Spencer is excited to see how God will use him with his passions for food, zoology and Christ in the future.
